Information we collect

We may collect details that you choose to send through contact and enquiry forms, including your name, contact details, message and information about work you would like us to consider. We may also receive information when you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

Customers book both site visits and work. When you make an online booking or booking enquiry, we may collect your name, contact details, booking details and any notes you add. A typical visit takes 30 minutes. A deposit may be payable when you book, where this applies to the booking arrangement.

We may also receive technical information from normal site use, such as browser type, device information, approximate location, pages viewed and basic security logs.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, discuss brick works, plastering, cement floors, paving, painting, plumbing, tree felling, wood work and carpentry, arrange site visits, provide booked services, communicate about a request, meet legal obligations and protect our systems.

Analytics tools such as Google Analytics may be used to understand how the website is used. Advertising tools such as the Meta pixels for Facebook and Instagram, and TikTok pixels, may tell those platforms about visits and actions such as pages viewed, an enquiry or a booking so that we can measure adverts and show adverts to people who visited. These tools run only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies in the cookie banner. We use your contact details for advertising on these platforms only if you have agreed to receive marketing from us.

Lawful basis and sharing

We process information when it is needed to respond to your enquiry, provide a booked service, comply with a legal obligation, or protect our legitimate interests. Analytics, advertising and marketing are used only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent.

We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and services, such as website hosting, email and payments where applicable. With your consent, information may also be shared with analytics and advertising platforms. These providers must keep information confidential and secure. Some may store or process information outside South Africa under protection similar to POPIA and under their own privacy policies.
